Inauguration Ceremony of a Memorial for Two Martyred Pilot Officers

A ceremony was held at Beirut Air Base to unveil a memorial dedicated to the late Pilots Captain Joseph Hanna and Lieutenant Richard Saab, who lost their lives on August 23, 2023, due to a military helicopter crash in Hamana. The event was attended by the Commander of the Air Force, representing the LAF Commander General Rodolph Haykal, along with several officers and the families of the fallen officers.
Brigadier General Michel Saifi, Commander of the Air Force, delivered a speech in which he stated: "As we stand before the memorial of our martyrs, we pledge to remain loyal to their path, holding steadfast to the principles they believed in, and determined to continue their mission, no matter the sacrifices required."
