Inauguration ceremony of the rehabilitated model warehouse at the Logistic Brigade
A ceremony was held at the Headquarters of the Logistic Brigade in Kfarchima to mark the completion of the rehabilitation of a model warehouse affiliated with the Directorate of Warehouses within the Logistic Brigade, with support from the Canadian authorities. The ceremony was attended by the Canadian Ambassador to Lebanon, Gregory Galligan; the Deputy Chief of Staff for Logistics, representing the Interim Army Commander-in-Chief, Major General Hassan Audi; the Director of the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS), Muhammad Usman Akram; as well as several officers.
During the ceremony, Brigadier General Amin Al Qaii, Deputy Chief of Staff for Logistics, delivered a speech in which he stated:
“Despite the challenges facing the Army, it remains determined to shoulder its responsibilities, guided by its steadfast national doctrine and relying on the trust and support of friend countries, including Canada.”
The Canadian Ambassador also delivered a speech in which he emphasized the strong partnership between the Lebanese Army and the Government of Canada in support of stability in Lebanon and the region. This partnership falls within the framework of enhancing the military institution's logistical capabilities and assisting it in carrying out its missions across the entire Lebanese territory.
