The inauguration of a football field in Tripoli in the frame of CIMIC

A ceremony was held this morning in Baal el Darawish – Tripoli for the inauguration of a football field after being rehabilitated with the financing of Holland in the frame of the military-civil cooperation CIMIC.
The ceremony was attended by Brigadier General Renee Mouawad representing the LAF Commander as well as several members of the Dutch Embassy and official, spiritual and social figures. Brigadier General Mouawad delivered a speech on the occasion where he extended his appreciation to the Dutch authorities for their constant initiatives and confirmed that the army gives a lot of attention to developing the north that has suffered a lot from tragedies and incidents. Brigadier General Mouawad also confirmed that the LAF is loyal to massive sacrifices offered by Tripoli for the sake of the nation. Moreover, Cheikh Mohammad Imam, representing the Mufti of Tripoli and the North Cheikh Malek el Chaar, and Cheikh Ahmad el Dayeh representing the head of the supreme Alawite Islamic council Cheikh Assad Assi in addition to MR Chadi Nashabi representing Utopia organization, all delivered speeches in which they extended their appreciation to the Dutch authorities and commended the army’s solidarity with the citizens of the region as well as the extraordinary developmental role performed by the military-civil cooperation program.
