Individuals arrested and materials set for smuggling seized

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

From 30/07/2021 until 2/8/2021, the army units deployed in the North and Bekaa arrested 13 citizens and 5 Syrians, and seized 13 cars, a van and a motorcycle, all loaded with about 6400 liters of gasoline, in addition to a quantity of cigarette and food items, set for smuggling into Syrian territory.

The arrestees and the seized items were turned in to the competent judicial authorities.
