Individuals arrested for trafficking narcotics and fake currency

The Army Command – directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

On this date, while following up with the activity of narcotic traffickers in different Lebanese regions, an Intelligence patrol arrested in Kafaat – Mreije a Lebanese citizen and a Syrian individual for trafficking narcotics. The mentioned individuals were caught in the possession of a large and various amount of narcotics in addition to a monetary amount. On the same date, another patrol arrested in Chatila camp a Lebanese citizen and a Syrian individual for trafficking fake currency and instigating different fights.

The arrested individuals were turned in along with the confiscated items to the relevant authorities.
