Individuals arrested in Tripoli and Beirut

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:
A patrol from the Intelligence Directorate arrested in Tripoli the citizens (T.A.), (A.Ch.) and (M.R.), the Syrian (B.Y.) and the Palestinian (A.AA.) for forming a gang that dismantles old abandoned heritage houses in the internal markets of Tripoli (Souk El Attarine, Bab Al Ramel, Bab al-Hadid, and the internal markets) in cooperation with others, in order to transport their material and sell them to building contractors in exchange for money. The dismantling process led to the collapse of some houses and damage to others, which made them prone to collapse.
A patrol from the aforementioned directorate arrested in Sport Stadium – Mazraa the citizens (M.H.) and (AA.H.) for promoting counterfeit currency through the purchase of motorcycles and cellphones. A sum of counterfeit currency was seized in their possession.
The arrestees and the seized items were turned in to the competent judicial authorities.
