The LAF Commander and the French Ambassador sign three cooperation projects and meet with members of the task force assigned to implement an exercise on crisis management

The LAF Commander in Chief General Joseph Aoun received in his office in Yarzeh, The French ambassador to Lebanon, Mrs. Anne Grillo, and the military attaché, Colonel Fabrice CHAPELLE, heading an accompanying delegation. Three projects were signed in the fields of: mountain combat, training, coordination and joint maritime rescue.

General Aoun and Ambassador Grillo then held a meeting with members of the task force assigned to implement an exercise on crisis management, using the SOULT simulator at the Fouad Chehab Command and Staff College. The LAF Commander delivered a speech in which he praised the support provided by France for the Lebanese Army to develop its capabilities, equipment and training, indicating that the assistance provided by friendly armies reflects the appreciation and confidence in the military institution's performance of the tasks entrusted to it facing various challenges with determination. He added, "The projects that were signed will have positive repercussions for developing the level of the army in many areas."

General Aoun concluded his speech by thanking the French state and its friendly army for the support and confidence in developing operational capabilities, stressing that the army will remain the protector of stability and the trust of all.
