LAF Commander visited the fourth Border Regiment positions in Baalbek outskirts

LAF Commander General Joseph Aoun visited the fourth Border Regiment positions in Baalbek outskirts where he inspected the security measures taken by the regiment to preserve peace at the eastern border. General Aoun congratulated the troops on Eid el-Adha and praised their firm will to perform the missions despite the rugged terrain and extreme weather conditions. He commended their competence in preserving the security of the citizens and in controlling border-crossing points and prohibiting smuggling operations. General Aoun spoke highly of the feats that the Army has achieved in this term particularly the great victory over the terrorist organizations in Dawn of the Outskirts operation.
