LAF denies news reported on websites and social media pages

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:
A number of social media pages and websites reported news attributed to military intelligence, including information about the explosion that hit the Port of Beirut.
The Army Command denies these allegations altogether and considers them baseless and unfounded. It also urges all parties to abstain from getting caught up in analyses and speculations and to wait for the results of the official investigation.
The LAF stresses that all news related to the Military Institution are published through statements issued by the Directorate of Orientation and published on the LAF official pages.
