The LAF received a grant from the Finnish authorities

The Barrack of Benoit Barakat – Tyr hosted a ceremony where the LAF received a donation from the Finnish authorities through the funding provided to restore a building in addition to a power generator. Brigadier General P.S.C Roger Helo commander of the South Litani Sector attended the ceremony and represented the LAF Commander in the presence of the Finnish Battalion Commander operating under the UNIFIL Command Lieutenant Colonel Simo Erik Peso in addition to the presence of LAF and UNIFIL officers.

Brigadier General Helo read an appreciation letter on behalf of the LAF Commander and presented it to Lieutenant Colonel Peso to whom he also offered the LAF commemorative shield.
