Landing operation in the frame of Cèdre Bleu 2019

In the frame of Cèdre Bleu 2019 joint drill between the LAF and the French army, a landing operation was executed today in Jounieh naval base in which the amphibious helicopter carriers Dixmude participated along with 3 landing boats from the French naval group, a landing boat and 2 cruisers from the LAF navy and soldiers from navy seals.
This operation is considered highly important, as it boosts the capabilities for naval and air coordination between units participating in all stages of the drill and raises the level of professionalism during the protection of shores and the prevention of naval dangers in the regional waters.
