Large Quantity of Weapons, Shells, and Ammunition Seized

The LAF Command - Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

On August 25, 2025, as part of efforts to combat arms smuggling across the Lebanese–Syrian border and to pursue infiltration attempts and security violations, a LAF unit, supported by a patrol from the Directorate of Intelligence, arrested Syrian national (A.A.) in Al Bkayaa – Akkar.. A large quantity of weapons, shells, and military ammunition was found in his vehicle, in addition to military gear.

The seized items were handed over, and an investigation with the detainee was initiated under the supervision of the competent judicial authority.
