The Lebanese Army Arrests Four Citizens for Various Crimes, Including Opening Fire at an Army Soldier and Storming a Shop by force of arms
The Lebanese Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:
An Army unit arrested Lebanese citizen (H.M.) at the Majdaloun checkpoint – Baalbek. He was wanted for committing several crimes, including opening fire at an Army soldier and driving a vehicle bearing forged license plates. Weapons and military ammunition were seized from his possession.
Following surveillance and security monitoring operations, another Army unit arrested Lebanese citizens (A.AA.) and (A.M.) in Sayda for having previously stormed a commercial establishment in the city at gunpoint.
Another Army unit also raided the homes of wanted individuals in Minieh – Minieh Donniyeh and arrested Lebanese citizen (H.Gh.) for possessing military weapons. Weapons, military ammunition, and military equipment were seized from his possession.
The seized items were handed over to the competent authorities, and investigations with the arrestees have been initiated under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities.
