A live fire maneuver in Hannoush – Hamat

Under the supervision of the Special Forces School, units from the 3rd and 4th land border regiments, the 1st armored vehicles regiment, the engineering regiment, the rangers regiment, the 1st intervention regiment, the 2nd artillery regiment and units from Air and Naval Forces performed a live fire maneuver in Hanoush – Hamat, simulating taking down a terrorist group hiding in built areas.
During the maneuver, shootings with helicopters, tanks and medium and heavy caliber weapons took place and explosives were detonated.The maneuver also included air support and disembarkation and the evacuation of injured individuals from the battlefield using vehicles.
This maneuver comes in the frame of a qualitative training plan set by the Army Command in order to increase the level of preparedness of units and their readiness for swift and efficient intervention in different combat circumstances.
