Medals and monetary prizes offered in a ceremony to members of the Special Forces School

The Special Forces School – Hamat hosted this morning a ceremony where medals and monetary prized were offered to the winners in the competitions of “the strongest commando” and “the warrior contest” in the presence of the School Commander Brigadier General Fadi Makhoul  who represented LAF Commander General Joseph Aoun and a number of officers from the Armed Forces and security agencies as well as the guests. Brigadier General Makhoul delivered a speech in which he said: to the winners I would like to note that we are entrusted with keeping our country safe through efforts, knowledge and education just as the Lebanese are safeguarding it through their support to the Army. Therefore, I urge you to be an example in giving sacrifices and showing commitment to your responsibilities. In addition, you are asked to spread the culture of citizenship through sports and through all sectors of life. On this day, we remember the bright feats that the Army Sports teams achieved whether on the level of the military institution or on the local and international levels.
