Meetings of the Armed Forces Commander General Joseph Aoun in his visit to the State of Kuwait

The Armed Forces Commander General Joseph Aoun met this morning with His Highness the Prince of Kuwait Sheikh Sobah el-Ahmad el-Jaber el-Sobah. General Aoun voiced his appreciation to the State of Kuwait, its government and people for the continuous support granted to Lebanon and its army during his visit to the Prince.

General Aoun also held a meeting with the Kuwaiti Army Chief of General Staff Lieutenant General P.S.C Mohammad el-Khodor in the presence of his deputy Lieutenant General P.S.C Sheikh Abdullah Nawaf el-Ahmad el-Sobah and members of the Military Defense Council as well as senior Kuwaiti officers. Talks during the meeting focused on the relations of cooperation between the armies of both countries and the means to bolster these relations in the coming stages particularly in the fields of joint training and the exchange of military and technical expertise.
