Meetings of General Aoun

The Armed Forces Commander General Joseph Aoun received in his office in Yarzeh yesterday former Ambassador Abdallah Farhat who headed an accompanying delegation. General Aoun also received a delegation from the municipalities in the region of Deir el-Ahmar headed by Mr. Jean Fakhry and a delegation from the municipality of Kfardebian headed by Mr. Bassam Salameh. The visitors congratulated General Aoun following his appointment as Armed Forces Commander and discussions with the Commander tackled general issues. General Aoun also met during the day with the Slovenian Defense Attaché Colonel Janko Šteh and their talks focused on the means to boost the relations of cooperation between the armies of both countries.
