Members of a terrorist cell referred to the competent judicial authorities

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

The Intelligence Directorate referred members of a terrorist cell to the competent judicial authorities after arresting them in one of the western Beqaa towns following several security operations carried out in the aforementioned area.

The patrol seized firearms and ammunitions, and figured out that the members were linked to a terrorist organization. The arrestees exercised shootings and military trainings in the outskirts of the region. They also planned to strike and exchanged aerial photos of military barracks. They were ruled by a person outside the Lebanese territory.
