In the beginning, General Aoun laid a wreath on the monument and lit a torch, then a squad fired 21 shots in honor of the martyrs’ memory. Afterwards, the Military Band played the recital of death, the Lebanese National Anthem and the chorus of martyrs.

At 06:07 o’clock, everyone stood a minute of silence as a tribute to all the victims and wished the wounded a swift recovery. Then, each of the participants put down a white flower on the monument.
