Missions conducted on 14/8/2020 at the Advanced Emergency Room

• Meeting with members of Beirut Sons Family Association addressing the topic of offering food aid, and ambulances donated by volunteers and the possibility of distributing aid.
• Meeting held with the staff members of Mr. Hasan Fadlallah office for social services addressing the topic of providing health assistance, restoration of houses and the possibility of conducting a survey of the damaged areas.
• Meeting held with representatives of Talia Charity Organization discussing the topic of restoring damaged houses in the neighborhood of Zkak el-Blat – el-Khandak el-Ghamik.
• Meeting held with Alafaq Charity Organization addressing the topic of distributing aid (electric appliances), offering assistance, restoring houses and offering psychological assistance.
• Meeting with members of the Qatari delegation aimed at coordinating the efforts regarding the arrival of a Qatari team which will offer assistance in the restoration and reconstruction process.
• Meeting at the Order of Engineers and Architects in the presence of:

1- Members of the Order of Engineers and Architects
2- Members of the Engineering division at the Municipality of Beirut.
3- Members of Dar AlHandasa.
4- IOCC
5- Khatib and Alami
6- Other Engineering companies.

Discussions during these meetings focused on the means to provide the Advanced Emergency Room with all the data collected while surveying the devastated area. The mentioned Room will be collecting these data on GIS. Then, the Order of Engineers and Architects will be assigned with inspecting the buildings which are considered at risk of collapse or posing a risk. As a result of the inspection, the Order of Engineers and Architects presents a complete file to the Advanced Emergency Room in order to commission a contractor with the necessary action.
