Narcotics factories raided in Hour Taala – Bekaa

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:
On 31/07/2021, LAF units, assisted by a patrol from the Intelligence Directorate, carried out raids in Hour Taala – Bekaa, and seized a number of narcotics factories and equipment for drug manufacturing.
During the raid, LAF units were exposed to fire and a soldier was injured. The troops returned fire, causing the death of (A.M.) who is wanted for several arrest warrants: robbing citizens by force of arms, kidnapping, stealing cars, abusing and promoting drugs and shooting. A number of wanted individuals weas also arrested.
