A national campaign for the awareness of the dangers of mines, cluster bombs and unexploded ordnances

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation announces the launching of a national campaign for the awareness of the dangers of mines, cluster bombs and unexploded ordnances, by the LMAC in cooperation with the national committee for mine danger awareness. The campaign will take place from 30/03/2017 until 07/04/2017 and will include sports and different cultural activities. Therefore, the Army command is honored to invite media outlets to attend and cover the happenings of the campaign according to the following schedule:

  • Delivering a lecture
  • Establishing a pretend mine field and performing an explanatory exposition concerning the removal of mines with the participation of the engineering regiment, the UNMAS and the UNIFIL.

  • A Q&A game about mine danger awareness.
