Obituary of Retired Brigadier General Mohammad Hamadi

The Lebanese Army Command – Directorate of Orientation mourns Retired Brigadier General Mohammad Hamadi, who was martyred on 8/3/2026 as a result of Israeli attacks and airstrikes targeting Al Ghazieh – Sidon. A brief overview of his life follows:

• Born on 1/7/1951 in Ghazieh – Sidon.
• Enlisted in the Lebanese Army on 1/10/1973 and was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 1/7/1976. He continued to advance in rank until he reached the rank of Brigadier General starting on 14/3/2006.
• Awarded several medals and received the Army Commander’s commendation and congratulations multiple times.
• Completed several training courses in Lebanon and abroad.
• Married with four children.
