The Army Command - Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

A patrol from the Intelligence Directorate arrested  at al Mraijeh district - Southern Suburb of Beirut, the palestinian (A.Sh.) who is wanted according to several arrest warrants and judicial prosecutions for various offences (shooting, attempted murder, drug trafficking and drug abuse, arms trade).

A hand grenade and forged identification papers used to go about, have been seized at his place.

The arrested and the seized items were handed over to the relevant authorities and investigation is in progress under the supervision of the judiciary authorities.
