Participation of a Rangers Platoon in the National Day of Spain in Madrid

Following an invitation from the Spanish ministry of Defense, a platoon of Rangers will be participating in the National Day of Spain that will be held in Madrid.

The troops of the platoon left this afternoon on board a governmental Spanish airplane, specially prepared for Lebanon in order to transfer them to Madrid with the aim of participating in the joint drills with the Spanish army in preparation for the official celebration next Saturday on the 12^th of the current month, with the presence of the Spanish King, as a  token of appreciation and gratitude from the kingdom to the LAF that has hoisted the Spanish flag on top of Hill 1526 at the barren lands of Ras Baalbek, after retrieving it back from the terrorist at the beginning of the “Dawn of the Outskirts: battle.

It is worth mentioning that in 2017, an officer from the LAF participated in the same celebration while carrying hoisting the Lebanese flag.
