Raid in Baalbek, confiscation of narcotics and arrest of individuals in different regions

An Intelligence Directorate patrol assisted with a military force raided yesterday the residences of wanted outlaws in the city of Baalbek and arrested Ahmad Mohammad Jaafar who is wanted for the crime of opening fire with a military weapon at a previous incident.
Inside the raided residences, the army forces uncovered a Honda vehicle without legal papers in addition to 2 launcher grenades, 2 RPG grenades, 4,5 kilos of Cocaine and 14,5 kilos of Marijuana and equipment used in the manufacture of narcotics as well as quantities of light ammunition , different military equipment, cameras and radio communication devices.
In related news, army forces arrested in Shlifa and el-RashidiyehMoussa Mohammad Jaafar and the Palestinian national Riyadh Ibrahim el-Khawas for the crime of opening fire from military weapons during previous incidents. Furthermore, army forces arrested in el-Rihaniyeh – Baabda Khodor Hasan Ammar for the crime of opening fire inside a night club in Nahr el-Mawt and caused the injury of a Lebanese citizen and two Syrian nationals.
The arrested individuals were turned in to the competent authorities along with the confiscated items in order to take the appropriate measures.
