Raiding several refugee camps in Ersal and arresting wanted individuals

The Army Headquarters – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

On this date, the LAF raided in Jmaleh – Jafar (Ersal) several Syrian Refugee camps where 23 individuals were arrested, 7 for previously communicating with terrorist groups and for trafficking combat weapons and logistically working for their sake (smuggling operations of individuals, equipment and food packages) and for the remaining being wanted for different reasons. The LAF also confiscated in their possession weapons and different ammunition.

The arrested individuals were turned in along with the confiscated items to the relevant authorities and investigation was carried out under the supervision of the relevant authorities.
