Raids against the residences of wanted outlaws in the village of Nabha – the Bekaa
The Army Headquarters – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:
A patrol of the Army Directorate of Intelligence reinforced by an army unit raided the residences of wanted outlaws in the village of Nabha - the Bekaaand arrested Hussein Abdel – Hussein Amhaz, Zein el-Abidin Hasan Ataya, Melhem Ali Amhaz and Ahmad Abdel – Hussein Amhaz. During the raid, Ahmad Abdel – Hussein Amhaz opened fire at the army troops during the chase and the troops retaliated and the clash led to his injury along with the Egyptian national Roni Ashraf Ahmad Metwalli. The raid resulted in confiscating a Toyota RAV4, a Rapid, a Jeep Cherokee and a GMC vehicle lacking registration plates and legal papers in addition to4 Kalashnikov rifles, a quantity of light ammunition and different military equipment.
The detained outlaws and the confiscated items were handed to the competent authorities in order to take the necessary measures.
