Raids, Arrest of Two Citizens, and Seizure of Drug-Manufacturing Equipment in the Towns of Bouday – Baalbek and Bebnine – Akkar

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

As part of the security measures carried out by the military institution to combat drug trafficking, an Army unit raided the residences of wanted individuals in Bouday – Baalbek, arrested the citizen (A.Sh.) for having opened fire on previous dates, and seized drug-manufacturing equipment and a large quantity of drugs.

In addition, a patrol from the Directorate of Intelligence arrested the citizen (AA.M.) in Bebnine – Akkar for committing various crimes, including: opening fire and injuring several people, armed robbery, extortion, and promoting counterfeit currency.

The seized items were handed over, and an investigation was initiated with the two arrestees under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities.
