Raids carried out and four citizens arrested, with quantities of weapons, military ammunition, and drugs seized

The Lebanese Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

As part of efforts to pursue individuals disrupting security across various Lebanese regions, an army unit carried out raids on the residences of wanted individuals in Sharawneh – Baalbek. It arrested the two citizens (M.J.) and (GH.A.) for opening fire, and seized from them a quantity of weapons, military ammunition, drugs, and a sum of counterfeit money.

A patrol from the Intelligence Directorate also arrested in Mina – Tripoli the two citizens (A.D.) and (M.M.) for committing theft and armed robbery, as well as drug use. It seized from them a quantity of drugs and two military pistols.

The seized items were handed over, and investigations with the arrestees was initiated under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities.
