Reading of the Order of the Day on the Occasion of the 81st Army Day Anniversary
On the occasion of the 81st Army Day, a symbolic military ceremony was held at the Ministry of National Defense in Yarzeh. The ceremony was presided over by Major General Hassan Audi, Chief of Staff, representing the Army Commander-in-Chief, General Rodolph Haykal, and attended by officers and the heads of the various directorates at Army Command.
During the ceremony, the Chief of Staff read the Order of the Day to military personnel. It included the following: The challenges and dangers facing our nation continue to grow. The Army remains steadfast in carrying out all of its missions despite significant difficulties, including limited resources, the magnitude of its responsibilities, and the sensitivity of the current circumstances. As the Army continues its deployment in southern Lebanon in accordance with the existing understandings and in line with national requirements and principles, it is also continuing its efforts to ensure the safe return of our people to their villages and towns. The Army stands ready to deploy to all occupied areas from which the Israeli occupation forces withdraw. However, the occupation persists in carrying out attacks and repeated violations, obstructing the Army's efforts."
Following the reading of the Order of the Day, Major General Audi inspected the units stationed at the Army Headquarters.
Similar ceremonies for the reading of the Order of the Day were also held at the regional commands, military institutes, academies, schools, the Air Force, the Navy, and the Army's other major units.
