Receiving a donation from the Chinese authorities

A ceremony was held at François El Hajj Barracks in Marjaayoun for receiving solar energy systems provided as a donation from the Chinese authorities to the army. The ceremony was attended by the Chinese Ambassador to Lebanon, Chen Chuandong, the commander of the seventh brigade representing the Lebanese Army Commander-in-Chief General Rodolph Haykal, the Chinese military attaché, Sr. Col. Liu Chao, and the commander of the Chinese battalion operating within the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL), Col. Lin Wanlei, along with several officers.

In addition to the solar energy systems, the grant included medical check-ups and the distribution of medicines to several military personnel.

During the ceremony, the Chinese ambassador praised the cooperative relations between the Lebanese and Chinese armies, especially within the framework of UNIFIL, emphasizing the importance of supporting the military institution due to its fundamental role in ensuring Lebanon's security and stability.
