Renewal of support agreement for CIMIC Directorate

LAF Commander in Chief General Joseph Aoun received in his office in Yarzeh, the Ambassador of the Netherlands to Lebanon Mr. Hans Peter van der Woode and the military attaché lieutenant colonel Johan Carel Gerritsen, heading an accompanying delegation. Then they hosted the signature of the renewal of the support agreement for CIMIC Directorate for the next 3 years.

General Aoun thanked the Dutch authorities for their ongoing support to LAF and CIMIC Directorate, expressing confidence in the continuation of this support in the future.

The Dutch ambassador Mr. Woode delivered a speech, in which he affirmed his country’s determination to support LAF and strengthen its capacities in various fields during this challenging phase, pointing the importance of the Civil-Military cooperation to overcome crises and mitigate their consequences.
