Rescuing several citizens who were trapped inside their cars due to the piling snow in Laqlouq and Baalbek

The Armed Forces Commander – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

As a result of the blizzard that hit Lebanon, army units rescued yesterday and this morning 10 citizens who were trapped in Laqlouq and Baalbek due to the piling snow. The citizens were evacuated, 1^st aid was provided to them and their vehicles were transferred from the mentioned locations.

The Army command calls upon the citizens to contact the nearest military post in case of such events, or the operations room of the army command and operation rooms of military regions on the following numbers:
