Sad demise of retired Brigadier General Engineer Michel Estephan

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation declares the sad demise of retired Brigadier General Engineer Michel Estephan who passed away on 09/06/2021.
The following information presents a brief summary of his life and military career:

• Born on 10/10/1960 in Sfarieh - Jezzine.
• Enlisted in the Army on 06/12/1983, rose through the ranks, starting as a lieutenant on 06/12/1983, and was promoted to the rank of Brigadier General as of 14/06/2011.
• Received several medals and decorations as well as commendations and congratulations of the LAF Commander in chief several times.
• Followed several educational and training courses in Lebanon and abroad.
• Married with 4 children.

The body of the deceased will be transported on 10/06/2021 at 10.30 from the military central hospital to St.George Church – Sfarieh - Jezzine, where the funeral will be held on the same date at 13:00 and the burial will take place at the town’s cemetery.
