Sad demise of Retired Brigadier General Ghazi Aamer

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation declares the sad demise of retired Brigadier General Ghazi Aamer who passed away on 15/05/2022.
The following information presents a brief summary of his life and military career:
•    Born on 22/11/1963 in khalwat - Hasbaya.
•    Enlisted in the Army on 12/1/1984 and rose through the ranks, starting as a lieutenant on 1/08/1986 and reached the rank of Brigadier General as of 01/07/2014.
•    Received several medals.
•    Followed several educational and training courses in Lebanon and abroad.
•    Married with 3 children.
The body of the deceased was transported from Hasbaya Governmental Hospital on 16/05/2022 at 7:30 to the public hall in Khalwat - Hasbaya, where the funeral will be held on the same date at 13.00.
