Sad demise of retired brigadier General Hassan Al Khatib

The LAF Command – Directorate of Orientation declares the sad demise of retired Brigadier General Hassan Al Khatib, who passed away on May 14, 2025.
The following information presents a summary of his life:
•    Born on June 10, 1944, in Al Manara – Western Bekaa.
•    Enlisted on October 1, 1968, and rose through the ranks, starting as a lieutenant on August 1, 1971, and reaching the rank of brigadier General, effective March 3, 1999.
•    Received several medals, commendations, and congratulations from the Lebanese Armed Forces Commander several times.
•    Followed several training courses in Lebanon and abroad.
•    Married with three children.
