Sad demise of Retired Brigadier General Youssef Harb

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation declares the sad demise of retired Brigadier General Youssef Harb who passed away on 11/12/2021.

The following information presents a brief summary of his life and military career:

• Born on 6/4/1953 in Beirut.
• Enlisted in the Army on 1/10/1973 and rose through the ranks, starting as a lieutenant on 1/7/1976 and reached the rank of Brigadier General as of 01/07/2007.
• Received several medals and decorations as well as commendations and congratulations of the LAF Commander in chief several times.
•  Followed several educational and training courses in Lebanon and abroad.
• Widower with 2 children.

The body of the deceased was transported from al Hayat Hospital on 11/12/2021 at 12:00 to his hometown Harouf – Nabatiyeh where the funeral was held on the same date at 14:00 and the burial will take place at the cemetery of the town mentioned.
