Sad Demise of Three Martyrs

The Lebanese Armed Forces Command – Directorate of Orientation mourns the martyr Major Mohammad Sami Farhat, and the martyrs Corporal Mohammad Hussein Nazzal and Corporal Moussa Youssef Mahna, who were martyred on October 24, 2024, as a result of being targeted by the Israeli enemy while carrying out a mission to evacuate the wounded in the outskirts of Yater – Bint Jbeil. Below is a brief biography of each of them:

  • Martyr Major Mohammad Sami Farhat
  • Born on September 14, 1988, in Deir Qanoun Ras Al Ain – Tyre.
  • Enlisted in the army on November 6, 2006, and was promoted to Lieutenant on August 1, 2009, then progressed through the ranks to the rank of Captain as of January 1, 2022.
  • Holder of various medals and has received commendations and congratulations from the LAF Commander several times.
  • Completed several training courses both domestically and internationally.
  • Single.

  • Martyr Corporal Mohammad Hussein Nazzal
  • Born on September 20, 1994, in Sarifa – Tyre.
  • Enlisted in the army as a soldier trainee on October 25, 2018.
  • Holder of commendations and congratulations from the Army Commander several times.
  • Single.

  • Martyr Corporal Moussa Youssef Mhanna
  • Born on November 17, 1997, in Sidon – South Lebanon.
  • Joined the army as a soldier trainee on January 1, 2021.
  • Holder of commendations and congratulations from the Army Commander several times.
  • Single.
