Signing an agreement of cooperation between the LAF and LAU

The signing ceremony of a cooperation agreement between the LAF and LAU was held this morning. The head of the university Dr. Joseph Jabra confirmed that since it was established in 1835, the university has been aiming to serve the nation. Dr. Jabra expressed his pride in the signing of the agreement with the military institution that offered the most expensive of sacrifices for others. Moreover, Dr. Jabra added that the university puts its capabilities under the command of the LAF and promised that it will offer what it takes in order to implement the agreement and provide the necessary facilitations for officers who are willing to proceed with their education.
Moreover, the Armed Forces Commander General Joseph Aoun expressed his appreciation to the administration of the university and stated that he values its initiative that will allow officers to continue with their education, thus helping them throughout their professional career to extend their knowledge and facilitate their decision making, turning them into an added value to the institution. General Aoun considered that an officer is not only a combat ability, it is also an intellectual one. General Aoun also extended his appreciation to the university as someone who got his education from this same university.
