Sudanese nationals arrested for sneaking into Lebanese territories; Lebanese suspects arrested for opening fire in el-Hermel

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

On 5/7/2020, a Lebanese Army Intelligence Directorate unit arrested the Sudanese nationals (N.A), (M.J) and (M.M) in the region of el-Hermel for the crime of sneaking into Lebanese territories. In related news, an Intelligence Directorate unit arrested (H.H) and (R.H) for the crime of opening fire and targeting Beit el-Assi Café in the same region.

Investigation has been initiated under the supervision of the competent judicial authority.
