Syrian Ahmad Mohammad Barakat arrested in Manafeh – Ersal

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

On this date, in Manafeh – Ersal, an intelligence patrol arrested Syrian Ahmad Mohammad Barakat , AKA "Abou el Ikab" for participating with el Nusra terrorist front in assaulting LAF posts during the Ersal events on 01/08/2014 and for launching rockets towards Hermel as well as being involved in a kidnapping operation in exchange for a ransom.

Investigation with him was carried out under the supervision of the relevant authorities.
