Training exercises at Ramkeen Island, off the coast of Tripoli

The Army Command - Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:
As an exercise on the concept of counterterrorism operations (SOFEX 2020), LAF units from Marine Commandos Regiment, Navy and Air Forces, carried out training exercises in cooperation with an American training team, at Ramkeen Island off the coast of Tripoli. The exercise simulates a raiding a terrorist group practicing illegal smuggling by sea, and included infiltration by divers and evacuation of hostages and wounded using helicopters.
