TRIPARTITE MEETING IN NAQOURA TO DISCUSS THE 13 RESERVED POINTS

On 12/09/2023, a tripartite meeting was held in Naqoura, chaired by the Commander of the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon - UNIFIL, Major General Aroldo Lázaro Sáenz, and attended by a delegation of Lebanese Army officers headed by the Lebanese Government Coordinator with UNIFIL, Brigadier General Mounir Chehade, to discuss the 13 reserved points, which have been deemed violations, without reaching an agreement. It has been decided that the communications and meetings will continue under the auspices of the United Nations.

Furthermore, the Army Command denies the circulated information regarding reaching any agreement in this regard
