Tripartite meeting in Ras el Naqoura

The Army Headquarters - Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement: 

On this morning, a tripartite meeting was held in Ras el Naqoura, presided by UNIFIL Commander Major General Stefano Del Col in the presence of a delegation of LAF Officers headed by Lebanese Government Coordinator Brigadier General Pilot P.S.C Amine Farhat.

The Lebanese side expressed the Lebanese government stance that is committed to preserving Lebanon’s sovereignty over its land, territorial waters and oil resources. The Lebanese side rejected all attempts made by the Israeli enemy to assault or degrade this sovereignty and stressed the LAF’s firm stance in terms of confronting any Israeli assault targeting these rights in compliance with the decision taken by the Central Security Council. Furthermore, the Lebanese side highlighted the Israeli violations by land, water and in the air in addition to the repeated provocations and demanded for a complete and immediate cessation of these hostilities.
