Two people arrested in Arsal, linked to the ISIS terrorist organization

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

As a result of investigations, a patrol from the Intelligence Directorate in Arsal arrested the citizen (H.A.) and the syrian (M.M.), both members of a cell affiliated to the ISIS organization. The remaining members were arrested on 01/02/2021. The Syrian (M.M.) admitted his affiliation with the terrorist organization and his participation in the battles of Arsal against the army and shooting at military posts.

An Investigation has been initiated under the supervision of the valid judiciary authorities.
