The unveiling of the martyrs monument and the opening of a garden and a lecture hall in Saiid el Khatib Barrack – Hammana

Under the patronage of the Armed Forces Commander General Joseph Aoun, represented by Chief of Staff Major General P.S.C Amine el Erem, the unveiling of the martyrs monument and the opening of a garden named after Major General P.S.C Mahmoud Tay Abou Dargham in addition to a lecture hall, with the presence of several LAF officers and social figures.

The ceremony began with the national anthem Major General P.S.C attended a briefing presented by the commander of Hammana post and attended a speech delivered by the son of Major General Abou Dargham, mr. Nabil Abou Dargham, in which he expressed his appreciation to the Armed Forces Commander for his generous initiative.

The chief of Staff then delivered a speech on the occasion that included: “the destiny of the LAF is to protect Lebanon. For this reason, the LAF has offered hundreds of martyrs and wounded in the face of the Israeli enemy and terrorism that emerges every once in a while with different colors and aspects. In this delicate stage of the country’s history, filled with dangers and challenges, we are in dire need of commitment to our roots and national values so that we renew our loyalty to our brave martyrs who fell during battles while defending Lebanon.”

In the end, Major General P.S.C el Erem expressed his appreciation on behalf of the Armed Forces Commander everyone who has contributed to building the monument, the garden and the lectures hall.
