Visitors of the Armed Forces Commander

The Armed Forces Commander General Joseph Aoun received in his office in Yarzeh MP Qassem el Hashem where they discussed the general situation in the country, then the British Chief of staff General Nicholas Carter who was heading an accompanying delegation with the presence of the UK Ambassador to Lebanon, Mr. Chris Rampling and the superior advisor of the UK government for Middle East affairs John Lorimer in addition to the UK military attaché, Lieutenant Colonel Alex Hilton. Discussions focused on the bilateral relations between both armies. General Aoun also received the governor of Baalbek – Hermel Mr. Bachir Khodr where they discussed different affairs.
