Visitors of the Armed Forces Commander General Joseph Aoun

The Armed Forces Commander General Joseph Aoun received in his office in Yarzeh the Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs Ambassador David M. Satterfield with the presence of Ambassador Elizabeth Richard where they discussed the general situation in Lebanon and the region as well as the cooperation between both armies. The Armed Forces Commander highlighted to the visiting delegation the trespasses of the Israeli enemy and its violation of the Lebanese sovereignty as well as the development of the situation at the southern borders and stressed the rejecting Lebanese stance of the enemy’s attempt to establish a separation wall that passes through Lebanese reserved lands.

Moreover, General Aoun received the Chief of Staff of the Indonesian Navy Admiral Ade Supandi who was heading an accompanying delegation with the presence of Ambassador Ahmad Khazen Khamidi  where they discussed the relations of cooperation between both armies as well as the mission of his country’s unit operating under the UNIFIL Command.

General Aoun also received former minister Elias Abou Saab along with a delegation from Dhour Shweir where they discussed different issues.
