Visitors of the Armed Forces Commander General Joseph Aoun

The Armed Forces Commander General Joseph Aoun received in his office in Yarzeh the General Director of General Security Major General Abbas Ibrahim where they discussed the mutual coordination between both institutions. Moreover, General Aoun received former minister Alain Hakim who was heading an accompanying delegation, then the head of the Syriac committee Mr. Habib Ifram as well as a delegation from the Antonine congregation headed by Father Daoud Raidy where discussions focused on general affairs. General Aoun also received Mr. Sarkis Sarkis and Elie Hajj as well as the chairman of the Pepsi Cola Company Mr. Walid Assaf.

Furthermore, General Aoun received a delegation from the European parliament where they discussed the situation in Lebanon and the region as well as the European aid offered to the LAF. The Armed Forces Commander also received the German ambassador to Lebanon Mr. Martin Huth, accompanied by military attaché Colonel Dietrich Jensch. The meeting included the signing of the agreement for a military donation offered by the German authorities to the LAF.
